The software at pacific poker is really nice to use and it gives you a choice between the full "avatar" view and the "uncluttered" view. I found the Avatar view to be a little bit fussy but preferable to the bare bones view.

The SNg tables fill up very slowly and the game options are not that advanced either. In the evenings UK time then the tables fill up much more quickly and you don't have so long to wait.

One good point for the beginner at the six handed SNG is that they have a three player prize pool option which means that you get less for winning but if you place consistently then you can build a bankroll here albeit more slowly.

I didn't like this format as it suits players who are more prepared to float into the money - which is fine, but leads to monotonous play.

So i decided to try the limit tables and had a major shock! I couldn't believe how fishy these players were. See the screenshots for how quickly I turned $100 into $400 over a four hour period. The six handed limit game at both 1/2 and 2/4 is a very easy game to beat if you raise it up and relentlessly bet with most opponents giving it up by the river.

For limit players who want to learn to play the six handed limit game this is your site! But the SNG action was disappointing.
